Not only is Solé a rapper, she is also an actress, Kung Fu martial artist, kickboxing instructor, interior decorator and a charitable entrepreneur. Solé started her career as a hardcore rap artist by attracting attention in the summer of 1999 with her appearance on J.T. Money‘s hit single “Who Dat”. This was followed by the release of her debut album Skin Deep which achieved gold status.
Sole’ is married to R&B recording artist Ginuwine. The couple have two children together, Story and Dream, and were married on Sept. 8, 2003. After the success of her gold album “Skin Deep” in 1999, Sole’ took a ten year hiatus from entertainment to raise a family, devote herself to her husband and children and embark upon a spiritual journey.
Solé returned to entertainment as an actress and in 2011 made her film debut in “Dead Money”. Since then, she has co-produced a series of skits with comedian Paul Mooney Jr. and been a guest rapper on several songs including “Make It Hot” by Pyro and “Naal Naachna” by Jassi Sidhu. Solé now resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with her husband and is an active member of her community.
